untitled

This is a photo of my guitar and me. It’s quite a nice photo really (okay compare to most photos of me it’s brilliant), and yes, you are not mistaken; I do look like a vampire, but I assure you, I am not. I’m actually quite pale, however, like Ichabod Crane pale, but I’ve learned to live with it.

About Me - Vianne

Wow, I've never written a biography before. Well, I have- as an actress it is one of those many tedious things you must do, but reading those is like reading the ingredients on the back of a milk carton...yeah, exactly. So, let me rephrase that - I've never written a biography so carefree before - so open. So, I shall begin.

Call me Ishmael...

Okay, I'll be a little more carefree than that.

I was born on July 5...okay a little too personal.

I like chocolate. Hmmm…I think I can go somewhere with this. I like chocolate, but NEVER EVER dark, and please when buying me candy, don't pay anything over a dollar. I really don't care for the expensive, rich stuff. Once in awhile, yes, but I'll be a much happier camper if it were just Easter candy on the clearance shelf at Walgreen’s.

Um, I like writing stories, poems (especially my favorite "What You Do When You're Home Alone" - peeing with the bathroom door open is mentioned quite often), and am actually enjoying writing this bio. I mean when have you ever been able to express yourself so freely about chocolate?

I'm in the process of writing my first novel, and I am extremely excited about it. I mean, it so worth it going without sleep for days and days and not bathing, sitting at the blank computer screen in a tatty old bathrobe, wondering why he left me and talking to the lepricon in my head who tells me to burn things. Anyway, I hope to have it done within a few months and am even CONSIDERING publishing it. However, because I'm a introverted individual (I LOVE going to parties, so would that make me an extrovert? I do enjoy sitting at home though...hmmm) publishing was something I swore I'd never do, but I'm starting to reconsider. I'd use a penname of course, I mean I couldn't imagine the clerk at the at the liquor store saying, "Oh my God, you wrote that!" after I signed my 250 dollar receipt.

If you've read this far, you really need to get a life...so much like me :)

I'm an actress...LOVE LOVE LOVE acting...it's like my life. I just love it. I mean getting into the minds of all these characters and becoming (well, I don't believe an actor really BECOMES a character, but for lack of better term) them for a short period of time and experiencing so much. It's just the most wonderful feeling...

Did I mention I LOVE to act?

I also like Johnny Depp. Fabulous actor...just marvelous. His new film Finding Neverland really touched my soul and I was crying at the end of it. I think it's because of that film, that I'm considering publishing my novel. It's really evocative. It's taught me so much. I don't want to stay young forever (I can't wait till I start to wrinkle), but I want to cling onto my inner child and imagination because sometimes that the best thing you can do - turn to your imagination when hard times get to you.

I'm a musician. I play guitar, which is my favorite. I love to rock out, and just let loose on the thing - probably explains why everyone who lives with me is deaf. Rolling Stones FOREVER! I also play flute (who would have thought???), piccolo, oboe (I'm still not sure what the thing is suppose to sound like - a duck being stepped on???), piano (okay, well, it's coming...).

I like to read...

Let's see. I hate prejudice people (is that being prejudice about prejudice people?)...I just do. It makes me want to throw up. How can I live in a society where a nation was formed by so different nationalities and yet everyone is so cynical about race?

Since we're on the subject about hate –

I'll add injustice. It makes my skin crawl.

And "What's IN style," Like I could care if I'm wearing the latest underwear...

Stupid people…they scare me.

And last but not least, the phrase  “Who died and made you Ed McMann?” I use the phrase quite a bit, but I hate it because one) Who’s Ed McMann two) why would you ask who died, if the question states Ed McMann died…yeah, weird isn’t. Just don’t think too hard on that one, you might hurt yourself.

Okay, anyway...

Sam from Benny and Joon and Captain Jack Sparrow are my idols. If everyone were like them, the world would be perfect...well, don't think too hard on that one, either. The results aren’t too good.

I love horses. Training them is another one of my passions. Yes, I own quite a few...

Misty - she's a paint/quarter horse cross and she barrel races like there's no tomorrow. Seriously, she has one need for speed. Even when she's pmsing, which is ALL the time, she still wants to run her heart out. She's also obsessed with food, but who's not?

Curly is a monstrous white Morab. He looks a lot like the beauty (the horse, not Johnny) from the Man Who Cried. He's my retired barrel racer, but there is still A LOT of go-go-go in him. He thinks that the boogieman lives in the trees, but don't doubt the great Curly.

Opie - possessed. Actually, he's a sweetie - well, 50 of the time. He's a Tennessee Walking Horse, and I've taught him to shake, bow, and that thing you do when you sit on his back...

Jack - Jack is my best bud. He's only a little colt, but pure black with white stockings and a devil's blaze and unbelievable spirit. He acts like he's drunk half the time; hence his name, but I love him to death.

I'm a horror movie fanatic...yes, put me alone in a dark house on a stormy night with Texas Chain Saw Massacre, or even From Hell with a bunch of grapes, I'm in heaven...don't ask. I don't.

Okay, that's about it, and now that I've completed this personal bio (for now anyway), it is only at this moment I have noticed the word "brief," on top of this little text box (or was it boxers)...Sorry, learning to control myself is on my New Year's resolutions list, but who actually follows those anyway?

Here's Luck to you,

-Vianne
